|MLS round-up: Bradley Wright-Phillips double helps New York Red Bulls beat Atlanta United
| wwwpic5678 Bradley Wright-Phillips scored twice as New York Red Bulls stunned MLS Eastern Conference leaders Atlanta United with a 3-1 win on Sunday. The Englishman's quickfire double early in the second half helped the Red Bulls come from a goal down to triumph. Ezequiel Barco put the hosts in front in the 26th minute before Daniel Royer equalised with a penalty three minutes before the break.
Wright-Phillips then took the game away from Atlanta, whose misery was complete when they had Greg Garza sent off in the 71st minute. Sporting Kansas City, the Western Conference leaders, had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Minnesota United, despite going ahead after only eight minutes through Khiry Shelton.
Carlos Darwin Quintero levelled in the 20th minute. Two second-half Alberth Elis goals helped Houston Dynamo beat Chicago Fire 3-2 in a topsy-turvy game. Romell Quioto's fourth-minute goal put Houston in front, but two goals in three minutes from Nemanja Nikolic and Diego Campos had Chicago in front before the first half was 20 minutes old. wwwpic5678
Elis made it 2-2 with a 56th-minute penalty and then grabbed the winner in the 74th minute. DC United got off to a blistering start against San Jose Earthquakes on their way to a 3-1 win. Goals from Zoltan Stieber, Darren Mattocks and Yamil Asad had United three up before Danny Hoesen scored a consolation two minutes before half-time.
Philadelphia Union crushed Real Salt Lake 4-1. Goals from Marcus Epps and Borek Dockal put Philadelphia two up and, after Damir Kreilach pulled one back, further efforts from Ilsinho and Keegan Rosenberry completed a resounding home win. Elsewhere, Lalas Abubakar's 85th-minute winner earned Columbus Crew a 1-0 victory at New England Revolution. wwwpic5678
